Is your curriculum written in consultation with First Nations people?Our curriculum deals primarily with the European colonization of Canada, however, we do include some information about one cultural group per province to provide context for how history played out.

What subscription packages does Brave Scholar offer?The Tiny Travellers, Canadian Geography, and Canadian History series are all available as a monthly subscription.

Can I order for my school/school board using a purchase order number?Yes, for sure. We are registered as a vendor with many boards in Canada. Just send us an email or message with your order, your school board contact details, and your shipping address, and we will send your board an invoice for payment. PO orders can take a few weeks to process, depending on your board's payment protocols. We have an online submission form here: https://www.bravescholar.ca/school-orders

Can I cancel my order?Orders can be cancelled until they have been shipped. Unopened and unused Brave Scholar materials may be returned at the customer’s expense. *Please note that products with The Great Canadian Adventure logo and trademark information will no longer be eligible for return after August 30th, 2025.

How much is shipping?Standard shipping on Canadian orders as of April 16, 2025: Orders $1-$49: $5.00 shipping Orders $50-$99: $10.00 shipping Orders >$99: Free shipping *All Canadian subscriptions ship free. US orders: *Effective August 29th, 2025 all US orders subject to a fee in response to the elimination of the de minimis exemption. Orders $1-$199: $25.00 USD shipping Orders $200-$800: $40.00 USD shipping All other international orders: $20.00 flat rate

How soon after I place my order will my adventure begin?We make our best efforts to ship orders between 7 and 14 days from the purchase date. Subscriptions are shipped once a month on the anniversary of your order date.

What order should I complete the curriculum in?Our Canadian Geography, Canadian History, and Tiny Travellers series are meant to be completed as a set and in the following order: 1) Newfoundland & Labrador 2) Nova Scotia 3) New Brunswick 4) Prince Edward Island 5) Quebec 6) Nunavut & Northwest Territories 7) Ontario 8) Manitoba 9) Saskatchewan 10) Alberta 11) British Columbia 12) Yukon Territory
