Our farmer's son, Abraham, will meet us in Manitoba. He will follow patterns around the farm and solve the puzzle of what is hidden in the barn. Y is for canola in Manitoba when we learn about their oil. Abraham shows us the muskeg of the wetlands and how it behaves like quicksand! He catches a snake and some tadpoles and tells us more about metamorphesis. We make our own canoe just like the fur traders used and make intricate patterns with paint when we learn about Metis beading.
