About Me
Hi, I’m Lana – mama to 2 beautiful kiddos and wife to a hardworking hubby.
I have been drawn to home education since becoming a mother in 2020. I’ve spent countless hours researching studies on home education and poring over the options parents have in Alberta over the past 4 years. As though by fate, my deep dive into the world of homeschooling led to Anneke’s advertisement for the sale of The Great Canadian Adventure.
After my first phone call with Anneke, I could tell I had met someone whose passion for home education matched mine. Her material has been written with the utmost deliberation and contextualizes ideas for children in a way I never experienced in public school. Each series is truly a labour of love. After reading through the material, I knew I couldn’t see such a valuable resource disappear.
My goal is to continue to make this curriculum available and honour the legacy that Anneke began, and hopefully, adding some value along the way.

About the materials
Our curriculum involves educational kits designed to provide children with a meaningful learning experience about geography and history. Our vision for the geography series is to help kids understand how people interact with their environment, while the history series aims to illuminate the interplay of people, economics, and politics.
Also offered on our site is a 12-book early childhood series that utilizes age-appropriate activities such as colouring and stickers to promote education about Canada, as well as several life studies and world studies textbooks for older children.
